Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people—but also wants the ability to earn more by confidently identifying sales opportunities? The Sawyer Agency is looking for a Customer Relations Representative who delivers exceptional service while actively contributing to revenue growth through in-book sales conversations.

This is a fully licensed role (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you aren’t licensed yet, you must be willing to obtain your licenses with our full support.

Role Overview

As a Customer Relations Representative, you'll be the voice of our agency—resolving customer needs, ensuring smooth service, and reinforcing client trust. At the same time, you’ll play a key role in driving agency sales from our existing book of business by identifying coverage gaps, recommending product upgrades, and initiating consultative sales discussions.

This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys service but thrives when sales are part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve Customer Inquiries
Provide accurate, timely support with a friendly and professional approach.

Drive In-Book Sales Growth
Spot opportunities within current accounts—cross-sell, upsell, and introduce additional coverage that benefits clients and boosts agency revenue.

Support Client Retention
Strengthen relationships with proactive outreach and consistent follow-up.

Maintain Accurate Records
Update client information, track interactions, and follow through on open items.

Collaborate With the Team
Partner with licensed colleagues to maximize sales opportunities and create seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and people skills with a confident, professional demeanor

  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-oriented

  • Customer service or client-facing experience preferred

  • Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (or willingness to obtain)

  • Comfortable initiating sales conversations and recommending additional products
