Are you a motivated, competitive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment? The Sawyer Agency is seeking a sales-focused Insurance Account Representative ready to build lasting client relationships, close new business, and make a meaningful impact through personalized insurance and financial solutions.

This is a fully licensed role (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses—with full agency support and paid training provided.

Role Description

As an Insurance Account Representative, you’ll be a central driver of agency growth through proactive, high-impact sales activity and strong client relationship management. You’ll consult with customers on their coverage options, guide them through decisions, and provide exceptional service that keeps clients protected—and keeps the agency’s momentum strong.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales – Actively market and sell insurance products, identifying and closing new opportunities with both warm and cold leads.

Consult & Educate – Clearly explain available products and tailor recommendations to meet each client’s unique needs.

Build Relationships – Develop trust and loyalty through consistent communication, responsiveness, and thoughtful follow-up.

Support Agency Success – Manage applications, renewals, and service requests while maintaining a sales-first mindset.

Stay Organized – Maintain accurate client records, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure interactions are thoroughly documented.

Qualifications

  • A strong sales-driven mindset with confidence in engaging prospects and closing business

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Previous experience in insurance, sales, or customer-facing roles preferred

  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support)

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
